Don Larson to be inducted into North Dakota’s Aviation Hall of Fame
The North Dakota Aviation Hall of Fame committee announces the name of an individual recently selected to be inducted in the ND Aviation Hall of Fame. The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of March 7th, at the Upper Midwest Aviation Symposium banquet in Minot, ND. Don Larson will join the prestigious aviation hall of fame group that currently includes 41 other individuals who have all had a significant impact to aviation in North Dakota.

The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission and the Airport Association of North Dakota are soliciting nominations for the annual airport of the year awards for: 2016 Commercial Service Airport of the Year 2016 General Aviation Airport of the Year

North Dakota Boards more than 1 Million Passengers in 2016
North Dakota’s commercial service airports finished calendar year 2016 with a statewide total of 1,049,457 passenger boardings. This is an 11% decrease from 2015’s airline passenger boarding count of 1,176,043. In 2016, the state also saw 1,053,199 passenger deplanements for a grand total of 2,102,656 passengers that have set foot inside the commercial service terminal buildings of North Dakota over the past year.
