Strong Spring Air Travel Continues at North Dakota Airports

(Bismarck, ND) – The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission (NDAC) has released its monthly report detailing airline passenger traffic at the state's eight commercial service airports.

In April 2025, North Dakota’s commercial service airports recorded 104,271 passenger boardings, making it the busiest April in state history. This surpasses the previous record of 95,181 set in April 2014 and marks the twelfth consecutive month of record-breaking passenger numbers across the state’s commercial service airports.

The recent April numbers also show an 11% increase compared to the same month in 2024, with an additional 10,159 passengers traveling through the state's airports.

Individual Airport - April Passenger Records:

Fargo – Hector International Airport experienced a new record for the month of April with 47,232 passenger boardings, exceeding the prior peak of 41,466 set in April, 2024. Notably, Fargo has now seen thirteen consecutive months of all-time high passenger activity.
