North Dakota Airports Post a Strong Start to the New Year

North Dakota’s eight commercial service airports posted a total of 90,979 airline passenger boardings during the recent month of January. This is a 24% increase from the 73,117 boardings that the state experienced in the same month in 2022.

Rodney Schaaf to be inducted into North Dakota’s Aviation Hall of Fame

The North Dakota Aviation Hall of Fame committee announces that Rodney Schaaf of Bowman, North Dakota has been selected for induction into the state’s Aviation Hall of Fame. Rodney will join the prestigious aviation hall of fame group that currently includes 47 other individuals who have all had a significant impact to the growth, development, and promotion of aviation in North Dakota. North Dakota Surpasses 1 Million Airline Boardings in 2022

North Dakota’s commercial service airports finished calendar year 2022 with a statewide total of 1,028,159 airline passenger boardings. This is a growth of 141,350 passengers and a 16% overall increase from calendar year 2021. All eight commercial service airports were able to provide services to more passengers in 2022 than they did in the previous calendar year.
