Online Payments

If you have recently purchased an aircraft and need to remit aircraft excise tax and register, or if you are looking to renew your aircraft registration for 2024, you've come to the right place. Our online payment system will allow you to remit a One Time Payment, or register to use the Customer Portal to view past bills, manage and pay multiple accounts, and manage e-bill notifications. 

Paying online requires you to enter your account number (assigned by our office) and billing zip code. If you have not paid online with our office previously, please contact us for your account number.

Did you purchase an aircraft? We will electronically bill you for tax and registration after we receive the required documentation. If your aircraft was recently sold, destroyed, or is unairworthy at the present time, email our office at ndaero@nd.gov or call (701) 328-9650.

Registration fees on aircraft and ultralights are due by December 31st of each year. Registration fees are based on the maximum gross weight for aircraft, and empty weight for ultraights, and are renewed on a calendar year basis.
