The North Dakota Museum of Art will once again host Rockin’ the Runway, a bi-annual fundraiser consisting of an auction, a raffle, and an epic party.

Party
On September 14th, join us at 7 pm for drinks and hors d’oeuvres at Avflight Grand Forks. Guests can tour private planes and jets at GFK Flight Support throughout the evening. At 8 pm, you are invited to dance the night away with Fargo-based Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome Syndrome. Drawing for the prizes will take place at 9:30 pm, with the band winding down at 11 pm.

A bus from the Museum to AvFlight GFK will be available to ticket holders.

Bus schedule: Depart NDMOA – 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm
Depart AvFlight GFK – 7 pm, 8 pm, 10 pm, 11:15 pm

For those who drive, free parking will be available at the AvFlight GFK facility (one building north of the airport). For those riding the bus, there will be free parking at the Museum.

Raffle
The Rockin’ the Runway committee will be selling 300 tickets at $200 each. The purchase of a raffle ticket includes two free entrances to the Rockin’ the Runway party on September 14.

Grand Prize: Private plane getaway for up to eight people from Grand Forks to Minneapolis and back. Flight leaves Saturday, October 12, 2019. The grand prize winner will be picked up plane-side and shuttled to the Summit Brewing Company, where founder Mark Stutrud will give an extended behind-the-scenes, fully catered tour. Winners are responsible for ground transportation after tour and tasting, and hotel on October 12.

Sunday, October 13, winners will receive the following Minnesota Vikings package.
Four (4) lower level tickets to the Vikings vs. Eagles game
Four (4) VIP on-field pregame passes
Four (4) tickets to the Vikings Museum (on our new HQ campus in Eagan)
One (1) Dalvin Cook signed football
One (1) Danielle Hunter signed mini-helmet

Flight will return to Grand Forks after the game.

Sealed Bid Auction
Sealed bids will be accepted until September 14, 9:30 pm, for a hand-made guitar by Kevin Muiderman. The guitar is Bearclaw Sitka spruce double top with ziracote back and sides. This design is played by professional guitar players around the world, including international finger-style guitar champion Michael Chapdelaine. The guitar retails for $8,400. Minimum bids of $4,000. The auction winner will be announced at 9:30 pm at the Rockin’ the Runway Party.
